Bacon Spaghetti, Gel Nails and Clash of Clans

I have more updates about interests, hobbies, and important recommendations. If you're hungry I have a meal recommendation for that, bacon spaghetti. It's short and simple. If you are curious about my nail saga I have brand new to me knowledge to pass on about Gel Nails you can do at home. Thirdly I have a fun mobile game from 2010 that has somehow gotten BETTER with age, Clash of Clans. Enjoy reading this episode of Tina Eats Food and I hope you're enjoying this fall weather.

Put Some Bacon On It

Do you love bacon? Do you think spaghetti is good but boring? Keep reading friend.

Sometimes you find those magical cooking tips that make everything better with just one simple ingredient like adding cooked bacon to practically anything. My grandma told me to put bacon in my spaghetti and it really blew my hair back. All I had to do was chop up the cooked bacon and throw it into the sauce while simmering. It was really good and made spaghetti feel brand new.

I also added mushrooms and onions, although my 12yo daughter does not like mushrooms but she really didn't complain this time I wonder why?? Because she likes bacon.

I did take pictures but they look no different than regular spaghetti.

Everyone in the house was really impressed with my cooking skills. Just say you are welcome...

But be careful washing those spaghetti dishes because did you know you can accidentally soak off your gel nails in the hot water?

GEL Full Coverage Nail Tips

Last week I did a DIY press on nail hack from TikTok using only super glue and acrylic powder. Those nails were definitely strong and I had to wait for them to come off one by one while also forcing them off myself. As they came off over a week or so I replaced them with full coverage nail tips and gel glue. It has been really easy to apply and you only need a few things to do it.

This is a pic of me typing this blog now that I have nails.

Since I'm new at having nails, all of this is new information to me. I realized that certain activities will weaken the nail, like doing dishes or picking up heavy things. I have had to replace a few gel nails that were on for maybe a week then popped off after these activities. I'll show you how I reattached them within minutes and I'll include my affiliate links for amazon where i got all of my supplies.

This is just after I filed my nail and wiped my finger and the plastic nail with rubbing alcohol. If you have a file tool it's good to file the underside of the plastic nail as well but I don't have one yet. After you hold your finger under the UV light for the right amount of time it's done. I like this because of how simple it is.

If you want to check out some products you can buy a bundle or you can buy them separately. This is what I got:

This Beetles Gel Nail kit for $13.99 next day delivery. Comes with 500 nail pieces.

This Acrylic Nail Clipper with Sizer for $6.99 next day delivery.

I also bought a top coat but you only need it if you're applying gel polish. In that case you should also buy a filing tool because you'll need to file the top of the plastic nail before applying gel polish. That way the polish will grab onto the top of the nail better. The plastic nail is already shiny. I recommend the packaged alcohol pads as well. Cotton balls stick to your nail.

For me I attach the nail, put some decorative stickers on top and then put a regular nail polish sparkly top coat. I like the crystal clear and sparkly look.

Clash of Clans Never Left

Not everyone likes to play games on their phone. But if you are a person who likes all kinds of games and are looking for something social, strategy, war, and long-term this game has it.

I started playing COC about 12 years ago. I played off and on for years and luckily, if you switch phones over time the game is attached to a cloud server that saves your information and you just log into it on any device. My village is still holding up and I'm ready to become bigger and better than ever!

But a lot has changed. It's all good changes though, you no longer have to pay to train troops and your heros no longer need rest every time you battle them. There are a lot of fun add ons that you can purchase like skins and scenery, and extra side projects like a builder base and clan capital. I definitely haven't discovered it all yet, I'm only a town hall 9 afterall.

I have the most fun battling for trophies, designing my base and learning new attack strategies. YouTube like always has a ton of people who are willing to teach you everything you need to know about all of the above.

That's it for today. Happy Tuesday and don't forget to go outside.
